Kalcinol is a chloride free liquid fertilizer solution, a 43% calcium nitrate solution. Active ingredients:
It can be used as a base material for concrete additives in construction industry, it has an antifreeze and curing effect. It increases the stability of the concrete and does not attack the steel structure. It is also suitable for deicing road pavements and it does not harm the environment along the roads, unlike chloride-containing salting materials. It does not attach concrete surfaces and transport vehicles (car). Its use is especially advantageous to prevent freezing and when wetted salt and sand are spread. It can also be used to melt and loosen several centimeters thick ice layers but for sufficient efficiency high vehicle traffic is needed (mechanic impacts). It can be used as deodorant additive for waste water treatment. Transdanubian Regional Waterworks Co. Ltd. operates its Limno-Odor Control System based on Kalcinol addition in a significant part of the country. Packing
