Active ingredients:

  • 17 % ammonium nitrogen (NH4)
  • 17 % nitrate nitrogen (NO3)

EC fertilizer containing ammonium nitrate

Application
It is recommended for soils with relatively much calcium. It is suitable for both top dressing and basic fertilization. It may cause temporary sourness in soils with low buffer capacity.
Nitrogen fertilization with divided dosages according to the development pace of the plants allows both quantity and quality improvement of the plant and better nitrogen utilization.

Packing
  • in 10 to 50 kg polyethylene bags, may be palletized in unit packs
  • in Big-Bag of 600 to 1,000 kg
Storage
It shall not be mixed with other fertilizers, combustible or organic materials during storage. It can be stored in bags protected from humidity and sunshine. Avoid smoking or naked flame in the storage area and around it in a 5 m range.

Regarding the fact that fertilizers with high ammonium nitrate content shall be treated as hazardous material, their trading is restricted in more and more countries, thus, their use is expected to be cut back, despite the fact that it is an effective source of nutrient both in plowland and horticulture cultivation.

CAN, UAN or Nitrosol-Ca are recommended as substitutes.

Recommended fertilization
dosages		 cereals 200-400 kg/ ha
(for information only) maize 300-500 kg/ ha
meadow, pasture 250-550 kg/ ha
garden 200-400 kg/ ha
(20-40 dkg/ 10 m 2)

High purity ammonium nitrate is free of sediments and it can be used for drip fertilization.
